Buying used motorcycles may seem less than exciting, you may want to have that brand new, shiny, never-before-touched feeling when you sit down for the first time. However, there are several downsides to buying a new bike that you may have never known. If you are here, it's probably because buying a used bike has crossed your mind, either due to the expense or other reasons, and we are here to tell you that you are in the right place.
- Skip the new motorcycle dealers' pushy tactics. We will never force you into a sale, or try to convince you that the bike won't be around forever so you should make a deal now. New dealers tend to be aggressive, as they get paid mostly on commission. At Platinum PowerSports, we don't push you. When a motorcycle is right for you, you'll know.
- Skip depreciation. We can never emphasize this enough. Whether it is a car, truck, motorcycle, or ATV, any vehicle is going to lose value when you drive it off the lot. With new vehicles, however, this is an impressive loss from which you won't recover.
- Bugs, recalls and reliability. If it is on our used lot, it means that it is a brand that lasts. One that is checked for bugs and recalls that aren't even known in new bikes, and one which has proven the test of time and miles.
